Job Summary
:
The person hired for the position of Manufacturing Engineer will primarily be responsible for supporting the Personal Care Division Extruded Bonded Loop value stream.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Supports process control systems and the interface to production reporting systems.
- Develop and lead programs to improve product and process understanding.
- Lead Lean Six Sigma (LSS) projects
- Determine and implement capital improvement projects
- Provide manufacturing support to new product introductions
- Work with support groups, such as but not limited to; maintenance, lab, quality, mfg. technology, and non-woven tech service.
Basic
Qualifications:
- Possess or in the last year of pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering discipline from an accredited university
Preferred
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Systems/Electrical, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
- Minimum two years combined experience in engineering and/or manufacturing (Military experience considered qualifying)
- Minimum of two years experience with Allen-Bradley PLC experience, utilizing Control Logic software
- Experience with A/C drives
- Experience in web coating processes and technologies, including measuring and inspection systems
- Ability to effectively use statistics in analyzing process data
- Demonstrated experience leading cross functional teams
- Flexible to provide support for round-the-clock manufacturing operations as needed
- Strong oral, written communication and presentation skills

al skills with ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments
