Overview The ADS Plant Manager is responsible for overall plant operations and successfully leading the facility by practicing ADS Core Values. This position is for a Plant Manager role supporting our Fairmont, Minnesota facility. This position provides leadership for the facility, sets goals, and executes strategies to meet corporate and regional business objectives. This role will set the leadership standard to drive the plant's safety culture and production levels while working closely with corporate accounting, human resources and freight operations to delivery results. The Plant Manager reports directly to the Regional Manufacturing Manager. To enable our continued growth, we are looking to add top talent to our dynamic organization. Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Meet or exceed quality, productivity and maintenance expectations. Drive continuous improvement activities to achieve production excellence by leading and reinforcing a Lean Culture. Manage proper staffing levels and facilitate employee training, development and career progression. Ensure excellent customer service through professional fleet operation, customer relations and proper inventory levels. Prepare annual operating budgets for plant operations. Meet or exceed budget requirements Ensure proper management of all materials, finished goods and equipment inventories. Facilitate various operational programs and ensure plant compliance. Prepare weekly, monthly and annual financial reports. Understand and practice ADS CORE VALUES. Develop a high performing team, driven by solid talent identification, development and succession planning which will support expansion. Build and maintain collaborative, team-oriented relationships with other functional leaders while fostering an environment of continuous improvement to drive efficiencies.
Qualifications:
(These examples do not include all the duties which the employee may be expected to perform.) To perform this job successfully the individual must have the following or equivalent:
Bachelor's Degree (or) A significant background in manufacturing and managing people. Degree and/or experience in (Business, Industrial Management, Engineering, Food Science, Management, Operations are preferred). 10 plus years of managerial experience in a production environment Demonstrated and proven leadership experience. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills Ability to communicate at different levels within the organization Operational Skills - Proven experience in getting critical projects completed in a timely fashion within budget; very resourceful and organized; hands-on leader who has the ability to create effective work flows and processes; strong manager of people and projects. Strong knowledge of lean business practices. Effectively coach team members and provide performance feedback and development opportunities within areas of responsibility. Ability to drive results; perform in a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment. Ideal candidate will be detailed oriented, process driven, have effective planning and implementation skill sets. Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work as a team leader/member with a diverse group of people at all levels within the organization. Physical Requirements:

Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Plant & Facilities ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
